St Kilda Rd Closure 2025. Due to the nature of anzac day in melbourne, there are several road closures in and around the cbd, st kilda road and the shrine of remembrance precinct. There will be one lane of traffic only and all traffic must turn left onto st kilda road.

The restoration of the historic south melbourne town hall is progressing. Buses will replace trams on st kilda road between the arts precinct and commercial road from 3am on sunday, 27 november until 7am, saturday, 17 december.
